I am a self- taught artist. In 2022 after retiring from varied career roles in project management, business ownership and teaching I bought my first paintbrush. A wild and free childhood in New Guinea led to a passion in exploring the wonders of nature, especially in flora and geology. With a love of detail, my artwork focuses on the realistic interpretation of the interrelationships and the intricacies held within natural environments. Every leaf or pebble gives me joy.

I have exhibited artwork in three local art competitions.

In 2024, I was awarded Second Place for my portrait Precious Moments in the International Men's Day Mackay Competition.

In 2025, I coordinated the Woollam Art on Show Exhibition on behalf of the Mackay Art Society which hosted this prestigious exhibition for the first time. In this competition, my landscape Storylines in Karrijini Sandstone, won the Local Artist Award.

With still so much to learn, I have been very honored to accept commissions depicting Mackay regional landscapes.
