There is a magic to animals that consumes me as an artist. I am driven to capture their spirit and energy, the sheer drama of their movement. I turn to many different mediums to bring my work to life, from pencil drawings, mixed media, right through to large scale painted murals.

My passion for art was rekindled in 2009 when I decided to study a certificate IV in Visual Arts at Mackay TAFE. I loved being around like-minded people, sharing ideas and techniques, it was a great time in my life. And I still love learning new ways of being creative, so I regularly attend workshops. 

I find art rewarding; it is challenging and can be frustrating at times, but the more I do, the more inspired I become. The possibilities are endless with art!
