This year I’ve been working hard at developing my digital art skills as well as participating in as many exhibitions as possible. I love an ocean theme and so this was pretty fun and easy for me to do. This exhibition has been a special one showing our love and pride in Mackay and surrounding areas.

This piece is called Reflections. This piece is of a green turtle with different iconic landmarks, animals and activities that are part of our waterways reflected on its shell. Without our love of nature and our respect for the other creatures who also share Mackay as home, we wouldn’t have such beautiful natural attractions. We enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming and sight seeing purely because we take pride in keeping our waterways healthy and clean.
