As an art student there are weekly assignments to be completed and critiqued.
As I work my way from professional self taught artist to art student, I feel like I’m right back at the start of my creative journey. Learning the correct way to do things, the processes, the techniques, the types of paints and mediums and just how to use them to get the most out of them. What a learning curve.
I am an avid learner, so each and every assignment and project is music to my ears and joy in each brush or pencil stroke.
I’ve dropped a few images of some of the artworks that have been happening. From the basics of drawing in charcoal and graphite and learning tonal values along with perspective, to working in oils…alla prima, live portrait and radiant landscapes.
